PERSONAL STATEMENT |
Dr. Chen Qianming, D.D.S & Ph.D, F.I.C.D,
Director for the Office of “985 Projects” and Discipline Development, and Vice Dean for the Graduate School, Sichuan University.
Professor in Oral Medicine and Oral Biology, Outstanding Scholars Supported by the Programs for the National Outstanding Young Scientists of the National Natural Science Foundation and for the New Century Excellent Talents in Universities of the Ministry of Education in China, General Secretary for the China Region of the International College of Dentists, President-elect for the Society of Oral Medicine, China Stomatological Association.
He used to be a faculty as a Research Fellow in the University of Hong Kong from 1998 to 2000, and then has been trained as the Research School at the Oral Cancer Research Center, University of California, San Francisco from 2000 to 2002. His main research field is the molecular mechanisms, the prevention and treatment related to the malignant of oral mucosa. Recently, as the Principal investigator, he has been supported by more than 20 research grants from the national or/and province academy bodies, awarded 3 awards by the Province or Ministry. He has published more than 51 peer-reviewed papers on the international and national journals, as well as more than 10 scientific books. He is the members of the editor boards for national or international journals such as Chinese Stomatological Journal, Hong Kong Dental Journal, West China Stomatological Journal, Shanghai Stomatological Journal, International Stomatological Journal, Beijing Stomatological Journal, etc. He the editor-in-chief of the national key textbook, Diseases of Oral Mucosa, and the director for the course, Diseases of Oral Mucosa, of the national key curricula of the Ministry of Education in China. |
